IGS recently attended the World Mining Congress in Astana as well as meetings with senior Kazakh governmental representatives to discuss the ongoing Geocluster consortium project.

IGS is pleased to announce the awarding of a new contract in Mozambique. The work, funded by the World Bank, is part of the MAGTAP programme which aims to improve the attractiveness of Mozambique as an exploration destination by improving geological and geophysical data coverage.

IGS will be attending PDAC in Toronto from 4-7th March with a stand in the North Convention Centre Building, #6306N. We will also be presenting at the Geosoft stand (#931) on Sunday March 4th as part of a programme titled “Leveraging Open Geoscience to Support Exploration and Discovery”.

The DFID-funded Extractive Sector Support Programme (ESSP) in Afghanistan has been awarded a final grade of ‘A’ throughout the Programme’s lifetime.
