IGS team delivers the second phase of the 30-days Capacity Building Training Programme in the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP). This second phase focused on Introduction to ArcGIS Pro and the training was delivered by Christopher Duku, from the International Geoscience Services (IGS).

This training focused on strengthening technical capabilities in ArcGIS Pro implementation and digital data interpretation and techniques for map production, modern data collection and GIS data management workflows, multi-data compilation and integration. The use of ArcGIS Pro will improve the efficiency, consistency, and quality of geological data management and spatial analysis, data visualization and metadata management.

IGS is grateful to offer its sincere thanks and appreciations to the leadership and participants of GSP for their active engagement and the commitment of the trainees to learning the importance of integrating ArcGIS Pro software in their mapping workflow and collaboration throughout the second phase of the capacity building. We look forward to building on this already established momentum on the upcoming stages of the training programme.
