IGS is pleased to announce the awarding of a new contract in Mozambique.
The work, funded by the World Bank, is part of the MAGTAP programme which aims to provide support to Mozambique to help the country be more attractive to exploration companies. This is achieved, in part, by increasing the geological and geophysical coverage, as well as undertaking prospectivity analysis for mineral deposits, and updating and modernising geological data management systems.
IGS is leading the consortium which also includes BRGM, PGW, and Gondwana Resources. Photos here illustrate contract negotiations being undertaken in Maputo between all the partners and representatives of the MAGTAP programme.
